Instead of focusing on a single mole, MoleMapCD technology provides a baseline record of the entire surface of the patient's skin, encompassing 35 individual images. These images are taken using standardized lighting and identical poses and are stored on the CD in the same order. Upon physician request, up to 5 additional images will be taken and placed to the end of the standard images. This uniformity is critical in making MoleMapCD accurate and easy to integrate into your practice and for the patient’s use during their at-home Skin Self-Examinations.

High-speed zoom capabilities allow you to quickly view high-resolution close-up views of the moles making the MoleMapCD an invaluable tool when checking concerning cutaneous changes or suspicious nevi.

The patient is also allowed to print a high resolution image of a concerning mole for identification during their next office visit.
